I am not drinking tea again for a very, very long time. I still feel like my head is spinning. I knew Wonderland was trippy, I didn't know it'd leave such a hangover feeling. Not that...I know what a hangover is like. I guess I'm grateful I didn't go with the Flounder costume though, can you imagine being a FISH the entire night? No, thank you.

Sharpay? Do you have legs again?

I wonder how Professor Shiranui made out with that Ever-Changing hat. That couldn't have ended well with the spell going on...

I don't know about you all, but I'm super excited for this masquerade. Dressing up in costumes is one of my favorite parts about performing, so of course a day dedicated to costumes and having fun is so up my alley.

That's not the point of this post though. I've recently convinced Professor Shiranui that he at least has to wear a hat if he's going to the costume party. I have so many I could give him though, that I can't decide.

Do you all have any suggestions? I have pretty much any kind of hat you can think of in here. I guess the most popular one will be the hat I loan to him. Yeah, that sounds good.

I was wondering if anyone wanted to help Sharpay with her The Little Mermaid costume group? I think she's a little jealous of the Wonderland group I think it will be fun if Sharpay can have some people who dress up with her. She'll probably even help you get a costume if you let her know! I would help, but I already committed to the March Hare.

I just want to say I'm very happy that you all have decided to help us make such a great show. It's going to be a lot of work but also a lot of fun and once the curtain rises that opening night, you'll feel the thrill of true accomplishment.

At any rate, Sharpay has seen it fit to name me not only choreographer but director as well. I'd like to meet with Catty, our set director, and Atsuro, our stage manager. I'm here if you guys have any questions, because I know some of you are inexperienced with theater practice.

Rehearsal will start soon...I'll keep you updated on when. Just try to keep your evenings relatively free. I'll see what I can do to work around other club schedules, activities, and classes.

All right, so, I know we've all had a pretty rough time in classes lately. Not to mention all the negativity going around after that lightening curse thing. So, I've decided we need to do something about it.

So, most of you know I dress up as the badger for games. Well, thanks to a suggestion from our fabulous Captain Maya, I've been working on a little project to improve the costume to better fit our image. Which, I have to say, I am so glad we finally gave that badger a make-over.

Unfortunately, I'm having a little bit of difficulty with the actual design. So, I was wondering, can someone help me find out more information on samurai apparel. I keep coming out with something that looks more like a regular kimono than anything else.

Of course, it might help if I got some sleep instead of working on this when I'm not doing homework.

Personality: Ryan is a nice guy when he’s not hanging out with his sister, Sharpay. He likes to have fun and is generally pretty easy going. He can be a bit of a goofball at times but this is mostly him being dramatic (and he so loves his theatrics). He doesn’t care as much about what people think of him and just does what he loves to do no matter what others might think. Being a rich kid, Ryan can be clueless sometimes, but compared to his sister he is extremely down to earth. He’s not exactly a realist and likes to hope for the best in any situation.

That being said, while he doesn’t see eye to eye with his sister all the time he has seen a side of her most people don’t. Ryan is defensive of his sister and while he accepts her faults, he does try to help her see the other side of any given situation. Ryan is good at seeing the good in others…even if he can be a bit sneaky himself. Ryan has a hard time saying no to Sharpay’s schemes, even if it goes against what he thinks is right. He cares about her and he knows that in the end, Sharpay needs him just as much as he needs her (even if Sharpay doesn’t show it).
Background: Ryan Evans was born on the same day as Sharpay, giving the proud house of Evans two beautiful, blond twins. Ryan was always close to his sister growing up and followed her around everywhere, even if she didn’t like it all the time. Ryan had no one else and he was a friendly sort…so he made Sharpay his best friend. The two only really got to be around other children when their parents would have dinner parties. It was because of their constant parties that the Evans children were soon taught various ways to entertain their guests. While Sharpay excelled in acting and voice lessons, Ryan showed promise in dance and music. The two eventually learned that they worked better together than separate and would entertain any guests to the Evans home with mini-talent shows.

Of course, being from a pure-blooded house it was no surprise when Ryan turned eleven that he received an acceptance letter from Hogwarts. Unlike his sister, Ryan didn’t care what house he ended up in…but secretly hoped it would be the same one as Sharpay. Unfortunately, when the time came, the sorting hat placed him in Hufflepuff. He was only bummed for a short amount of time (although he still gets flack about it from his sister). He learned quickly that it really was the house for him and had a great time making friends, although, no matter what, he stayed close to his sister whenever she needed him.

Ryan is now in his 6th year at Hogwarts and has done well in most of his studies. He still has his passion for music and dance and applies it in various ways to help support his House and school (for instance, dressing in a badger suit during Quidditch matches to cheer on his team). He’s been so busy lately he hasn’t been able to keep track of his journal but he’s finally finding time to start using it again.

Why you think they belong in this house? Ryan is the epitome of Hufflepuff. He is loyal, almost to a fault, to Sharpay. Ryan is also hardworking, putting his all into anything he sets his mind to, mostly dance, but really anything Ryan gets involved in will get his 100% attention.

Quidditch Position: He’s not big on sports, so no. He might try to put together a mascot costume though and dance around in the stands.

Journal Sample: Alright, guys, whoever took my badger head is in serious trouble. How am I supposed to dress as our House mascot if I don’t have the full costume? That’s like…just wrong. I mean, I know the other houses must be jealous that they don’t have an excellent mascot…but come on this is just juvenile.

On another note, I am so not ready for that potions exam. I mean…I keep mixing up ingredients and I really don’t want to leave class with no eyebrows again and neon pink hair. Sharpay might like pink but she wouldn’t talk to me for a week after that…at least not until my eyebrows were back. So, would someone mind helping me out? Please?
Roleplay Sample: Ryan tapped the quill against the desk, making up a beat while he tried to think of the solution to his problem. Potions was probably his weakest class and he knew his parents wouldn’t be pleased if he didn’t get good marks in all his subjects. He wondered if maybe Sharpay would help him out but quickly scratched that idea, she was just as bad in that class. Of course, that was mostly because she didn’t pay attention.

The boy in the hat sighed and started to twirl the quill between his fingers. He supposed he could always ask to join a study group. He knew quite a few Hufflepuffs did that on occasion and Ryan could really use the help…heck he’d even be willing to ask the Ravenclaws at this point.

“I just can’t think right now,” he muttered, dropping his quill and getting up from his desk. He knew exactly what he needed…a time to meditate. Ryan picked up his bag and left the library with a bounce in his step. It was how he always walked because Ryan always had some tune or piece of music stuck in his head. He hummed to himself occasionally and didn’t seem to care that he was getting some strange looks from students he passed.

He headed outside to his usual piece of grass and found someone was already there, “Oh, hey Sharpay, how long have you been waiting here?” Ryan decided to ignore the fact that she was tapping her foot impatiently. Had he forgotten something? Were they supposed to meet today? He couldn’t recall but he had a feeling Sharpay was about to let him know. “What’s up?”
